I know this is way late, but I'm taking a little break from the house hunt for a few minutes.
The 4th of July weekend was a good one. I was sad that I wasn't in St. George/ Cedar City with my family, but we made the best of it and had fun!!!
We went to the little parade, on Evergreen Avenue, where my aunt Denice grew up. Her family always does a cute little float for all the kids and grandkids. My aunt Shan and her family live close too, so they were there.
Here are my cute little man cousins and their float!

That afternoon we went to Oakley for the kids version of the rodeo. It was so fun, if we are here next year, Izac wants to do the mutton bustin.(this is Izac and Justin doing the chicken chase. They throw chickens out into the arena, and you chase them, and if you catch it, either keep it, or trade it in for $1.)
Here's a little guy doing the mutton bustin, the event we went there to see. Izac was deciding if he really is up to doing it next year.
Then they do a calf chase, where they tape $ to a calf and the kids chase it, and try to get the $ and keep what they pull off.
Our little cowboy! It doesn't matter if it's hot, and you're wearing shorts, you still have to wear cowboy boots to a rodeo!
This is when Izac decided to give up being a cowboy, cause we didn't get there in time to sign up, and weren't sure we wanted him to do mutton bustin, until we knew exactly what it took to do it.
Snow cones can fix just about anything!
Cute Alex, enjoying the action!
Justin and Izac watching the crazy rodeo.
Now That's a Bunch of Bull!!!
We then went to see Justin's mom at her new house in Marion (by Oakley), which is beautiful, and has amazing views!
But they weren't there, so we threw rocks in the ditch!
Then Dan and Liz came over for a mean BBQ. This is Dan's killer burger....SOOOOO YUM!!!
We had ribs, rootbeer over shaved ice, and all sorts of other good things!!!
Then we walked to the fireworks that they do right by our house.(this is Izac doing cowboy fireworks, aka the cap gun;)
I had to cover Alex's ears or he'd freak, he hated the noise. He eventually fell asleep this way!
Both boys snoozing on the way home. It was a fun, hot, crazy, fun day, these little men were pooped!!!!
*on a side note: We looked at some houses last night. If nothing else, we're eliminating houses we don't want. I still feel confident that we'll find our place. It looks like we'll be renting for a little while, until we find the right house for our family. Our agent offered us a great deal, renting one of his clients houses, which will work out great!!! We'll have to move twice, but we don't have to take everything with those storage/moving pods.

That rodeo is so Izaac, I bet he was in heaven! You guys should have come had breakfast with us for the parade! It is an open invitation--we do it every year.
I am so glad you found something to work for now. You want to be somewhere great, not just somewhere you can find at the moment. :) You'll find something perfect!
Such a cute post! I love the last picture of the boys all tuckered out! Thats good about the house you get to rent-now you wont feel totally rushed into something!
Awesome! I'm so excited for you guys. We missed you in Utah on the 4th and 24th, maybe next year :)
Lovin' these pictures! Such cute boys! Looks like a good time!
