Sunday, May 31
This was a sad day, knowing it was the last one here.
(I know it was Sunday and don't worry just because I have my swimming suit on doesn't
mean I got in the water, in case you were wondering)
We had our breakfast of fruit and yogurt on the Lanai
Took some last pictures, and walked down the beach by the condo.
Picture towards Laie
Justin found a lounging spot
Then I got in my "Sunday" attire and we headed out
We went to Haliewa Joes again for their Sunday brunch.
Another beautiful view of the gardens there.
We drove down near Kane'ohe to the Valley of the Temples, and walked around this Japanese Byoto temple. It was beautiful and interesting, I'm glad we don't worship a statue, it was kind of strange! There was a sign and a donation box that said something like this: For a donation we will pray for you. Huh? I'll just pray for myself thanks. It was already $3 per person to walk around, and you had to pay if you wanted to take pictures.

I knew I would missing driving around with scenery like this. I couldn't quit taking pictures on our drive back to the condo. (Plus I couldn't remember what I had and hadn't already taken pictures of)

One last amazing look from our lanai

Looking back towards Kane'ohe
It was a dream vacation! It was definitely worth 9 months of planning, and waiting to go. I'm so glad we got the opportunity to do this at this stage of our lives, we just might have time to go back some day!
I have been so excited to share all of this, with all of you. It was such a renewing trip, for my soul, and for our relationship, undivided attention to each other with no interruptions. Justin worked so hard to make it happen, and I am so thankful I got to be with him on this beautiful island for a week, we had so much fun! Before the trip starting from 9 weeks away, Justin would send me little emails about Hawaii (Oahu), and with a little picture and/or video of somewhere we were planning to visit. It was so exciting to have a sneak peak of where we were going, and it told me how excited he was. I kept wanting to post about our trip, but didn't want to tip off any creep-o's(who hopefully don't look at my blog anyway) that we weren't going to be home for that week.
It was awesome!!! It wouldn't have been nearly as great without my
Mom, Dad,(SISTERS) Krista, and Kylee. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
Because of them I didn't have to worry one little bit about my kids. They did so great with them that the boys didn't even miss us, I wouldn't have had it any other way! Izac even learned how to wipe his own bum!
and a big
and a big
THANKS to JUSTIN!!!
It was great, awesome, fabulous, dreamy, incredible, killer, mad(in a good way), amazing, beautiful, FUN, romantic, informative, and safe!!! With almost no mishaps(except for my pinky toenail)I hope there are many more adventures like this, with you to come!!!! I love you!!!
