Wild Weekend!

I wrote this on Tuesday, but blogger was having problems uploading pictures, so when I say yesterday I mean Monday. One other thing, is it really Thursday already, this thing is taking the whole week to post. Oh well it was quite the weekend......enjoy!!!!

We had quite the weekend. It started on Friday, Izac, Alex, my sister Kylee, and her little babe Auri, and I went to Thanksgiving point. We went to farm country, and of course Izac could have stayed all day. He fed and petted horses, donkeys, and goats, and we went on a hay (wagon ride) which comes with the ticket, which is a bonus. This place is great, they have machines with feed in them to buy and feed the animals. When we were on our way out, a guy who was giving the animals hay, came out with a baby goat and let us pet him, he was so cute and soft. We went down to Thanksgiving Point to meet my mom, Grandma, and sister Krista who were coming from St. George, we were going to go to the tulip festival, but by the time they got there we decided not to go, because it was too expensive, and required alot of walking. So we went to Ikea instead, since we were down that way. Izac and I got mac & cheese and hung out in the cafeteria, while all the rest of the gang shopped (we had been there recently so didn't need much from Ikea). Izac loves the touch screen computer games they have there for kids, so he did that for a long time after his food. Then we caught up with the rest of the fam and had ice cream at the end.

The next day Justin took Izac skiing for his first time, and unfortunately last time for this year. The video is pretty funny, you have to listen to what he is saying! Izac loved it and did really well. It makes Justin so happy because he is such a skier!! I had to work and my mom was still here so she watched Alex. After work I met up with the girls and we went shopping.

Sunday we went to church, and then up to Park City to John and Carol's for dinner, and to see and play with our cousins. Izac loves his cousins so much, and loves to play with them.

Yesterday I woke up and was sick. I don't know if it was something I ate or what, but it came and went, but I felt yuck all day. While I was thinking I was sure I was gonna die, Izac came up with a project, that actually worked out quite well. The toy basket's were out for Alex to sit by the couch by me and play. Izac came up and brought the basket's from downstairs out of our entertainment center. About an hour later, a roll of tape, a couple of random empty boxes and things, and a great imagination, he had built a train.

I guess it just looks like a pile of junk, but the basket with the water bottle turned upside down on it is the front of the train, the water bottle is the smoke stack, and the puppy is in the next car which is the box. He also was pretending that the green wipes case was his computer. You can't tell from the picture, but there was tape from each basket and box, to make the train. For some reason the blanket is also a part of the train and it's where I had to sit. He also made me cut the flaps off the box, and they are taped on for the wheels, and there's a tupperware lid taped on the inside for the steering wheel. Isn't his uniform great? His coat, jammies, sunglasses, and garden gloves. Oh my this little man's imagination is so fun and sometimes incredible!

Justin is such a good Dad! And you are so great for telling them to get out there!

What a funny guy. That is a pretty clever train creation for 3 year old.
Pretty awesome skiing too.

I never said anything to you, but yeah I liked how my hair turned out except one spot where I didn't get enough dye and also, now the top is washing out a lot faster than the ends, so I guess I might do it again, I don't know?? But I thought it was a pretty good result considering how it started! Thanks for your expert advice :)
