Crafty Spice

So just call me crafty spice. I just whipped this little beanie up for Alex yesterday. I knew how to make the hat part, but the ear flaps, and ties are new, and I love it!!! Now if he'd just keep it on.
I didn't know I was this talented, the crafty God's were good to me!

(Don't worry thats an orange in his mouth, sorry it looks gross)

California

Here are a few pictures from when the boys and I went to California to visit my sister, with my mom, grandma, and other sister, in October. We didn't do much there, except shop, eat, and go to the beach. Next time we'll hopefully go to Disneyland!

Alex' first touch of the ocean, He LOVED it!

Every time I took him out he cried, and tried to crawl back to the water.

It was so fun to hang out with my fam. It's sad my brother and his wife couldn't be there, it will be so fun when they will be able to come with us, with their little boy, and twin girls.
Thanks Kylee, and Andy, for moving somewhere fun for us to visit. Hopefully we'll be back soon!

What does your front yard look like today?

This is what ours looks like. A wonderland of snow. Is it Christmas? Alex is fascinated by it, it's so cute to see him get excited and jibber jabber in his own language while he stands at the window watching the snow fall.

I'm trying to stay positive, but seriously I don't like the snow, other than to look at. I'm not ready for this yet. I'm not looking forward to trooping through the snow with two kids in tow, sick cooped up kids, and having to dress the kids in two extra layers whenever we have to go anywhere. Bah Humbug!

This last weekend Justin went to spend some quality time with his friend Dave, at the Texas Motor Speedway. Sounds and looks like fun, hopefully he just doesn't become too involved. If he has anything else to say I'll let him blog about it. Here are some pics I choose to tell of the event!

Family Halloween Party

Here are some pics from the Halloween party at Justin sister Jenn's house last night. Thanks again Jenn for hosting, and all the yummy food everyone!

I put on the pirate costume last night, I kept forgetting to look vicious, instead of smiling when J tried to take pictures. I love dressing up!!! Alex made the cutest parrot, and still loved me, in spite of the hideous makeup. Izac is a cowboy at heart, it's so cute how much he loves his costume! Thank goodness one area I'm creative, or innovative at is Halloween costumes! The sewing doesn't have to be perfect, and you can use the hot glue gun.

Sneak Peek!

Last night for Friday Home Evening (the boys and I weren't home on Monday for FHE) we went to the place where I usually take our pumpkin pictures. Justin wasn't able to come to the other pumpkin patch with us, so it was for him also. Here are some pics from that adventure.

Our ward had it's trunk or treat tonight, so here is a preview. We didn't get anyone to take a picture of all 4 of us, so I am missing from the pics, but I was there. I was a cowgirl with Izac, nothing special, just me in a cowboy hat, so you're not missing much. I was supposed to be the pirate, but Izac wanted someone to be something with him. (Don't mind Izac's crazy eyes in these pictures, he didn't want to pose for them)

This one shows Alex's feathers better. I know he needs yellow socks, but I didn't have time to go get some. He's supposed to be in his red fuzzy pajamas with feet, but it was too warm.

This is the cute one!

This picture made me laugh, at least he's sharing, even if he's not paying attention. Anything to keep Alex from squawking!

Izac, growling with his friends.

*Stay tuned for pictures from California, from this past week!*

Pumpkin Patch

We went to a pumpkin patch last week, in Layton, with Izac's preschool. It was so fun and we even cut our own pumpkins off the vine......so cool! I put alot of pictures of the other kids from school, so their mom's can take them from my blog.
